Our Fundraisers

By fundraising for us you will be helping sexual violence survivors across Darlington and County Durham get the support they need as well as contributing to ending rape and sexual violence.

Here are just some of the people and organisations who have supported RSACC in 2023. Without them, we couldn’t provide the services we provide.

The Persephone Sisterhood, who are an all female motorcycling group based in County Durham, raised money through a family funday.

In 2022/23, we were chosen by the Department of Education Hub in Darlington, as one of their favoured charities.

We were chosen by DUCK (Durham University Charities Kommittee) who raised money for us, including through an International Women’s Day event.

For the third year we were chosen by the Scott Trial (part of Richmond Motor Club) for a donation.

Our partnership with Cummins, saw us benefit from several grants that supported our core funding and is helping us to reduce our counselling waiting list and increase our knowledge and support through training. We also offered their staff a number of volunteering opportunities, such as supporting our fundraising Lasagna event.

Durham University’s St Chads Charity Committee have chosen us as one of their charities for 2023/24, and as well as a wine sale to raise funds, they donated proceeds from their Hope Ball.

Support our campaigning to end rape and sexual violence

Influencing decision makers plays a huge role in ending rape and sexual violence. At RSACC we campaign to influence the people that make decisions locally and nationally to change attitudes and improve support for women and girls whose lives have been changed forever by rape and sexual violence.

By campaigning with us here at RSACC, you can make help us get closer to a world without rape and sexual violence. Find out more about joining our campaigns please get in touch on 01325 354119 or info@rsacc-thecentre.org.uk.
