Part Time ISVA Role

Part Time ISVA Role

Are you passionate about supporting survivors and ensuring they get the emotional and practical support they need?

We are looking for a candidate who would like to use their skills and experience to provide excellent support to survivors and help us grow the capacity of our ISVA team. We have a part time ISVA vacancy (15 to 22.5 hours a week- hours are negotiable) and are looking for a candidate ideally who is ISVA trained but would also welcome applications from those who are excited to develop their skills by undertaking accredited ISVA training, which will be funded as part of the role. We are especially keen to hear from people with experience and passion for supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community, including an awareness of LGBTQ+ survivors’ experience in accessing support. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your skills and work within a supportive and dynamic team of ISVAs.

We are a feminist, women-led charity working to end rape and sexual violence by supporting and empowering survivors across Darlington and County Durham. RSACC was established in 1990 and now supports over 1000 survivors each year. We offer free, safe support to survivors who have experienced any form of sexual violence at any time in their lives. Our ISVA service provides emotional and practical support to survivors, many of whom are going through the criminal justice system.

The roles will report to the ISVA Manager and sit within a team of 7 existing ISVAs. The team support survivors across Darlington and County Durham and will be based between our offices in Darlington and Durham, with some element of home working.
