We are a feminist, women-led charity working to end rape and sexual violence by supporting and empowering survivors across Darlington and County Durham.
We are looking for a proactive individual with administration experience, that wants to bring this to a small local charity and join us in working to end rape and sexual violence in Darlington and County Durham.
RSACC was established in 1990 and now supports over 900 survivors each year. We offer free, safe support to survivors who have experienced any form of sexual violence at any time in their lives. We have a small admin team who are the first point of contact for survivors looking for support and help us ensure they get the support they need. Over the past 2 years we have seen a rise in demand for our services and we are introducing this new role to help us improve how we manage our waiting list.
The role is part-time, between 15 and 22.5 hours per week, and can be worked flexibly between our office in Darlington and home. Hours of working can be negotiated to meet both the needs of RSACC and the successful candidate but there is an expectation that the post holder will work either a Monday or a Friday within their hours of work. The post is initially funded for 12 months, with the intention to extend subject to funding and satisfactory delivery of objectives.
Salary – £20,695 to £22,400 pro rata
