ISVA Manager Vacancy
We are a feminist, women-led charity working to end rape and sexual violence by supporting and empowering survivors across Darlington and County Durham.
RSACC was established in 1990 and now supports over 1000 survivors each year. We offer free, safe support to survivors who have experienced any form of sexual violence at any time in their lives. We have a team of 8 Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (ISVAs) who support survivors who are thinking about reporting to the police and provide practical and emotional support throughout the criminal justice process.
We are seeking a ISVA Manager who will use their skills and experience to manage and develop the ISVA service and team. We are looking for a proactive individual who will support our established ISVA service to thrive and build relationships with key stakeholders.
The successful candidate will manage the team of 8 ISVAs and report to the CEO. The position is for 37.5 hours, which could be worked flexibly and include a proportion of home working upon agreement with the CEO. There is an expectation the successful candidate will hold a small caseload of ISVA clients and so a proportion of hours should be used for direct client work (approximately 7.5 per week). The salary is between £32,771 and £37,370 and the successful candidate will be offered a salary within this band reflecting their skills and experience.
This post is restricted to female applicants only and is exempt under Schedule 9, part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
