MYTH: Women cannot rape other women

FACT: The majority of sexual assaults are committed by men against women, but anyone can be sexualy assaulted.  Emotional, physical and sexual abuse does happen in same sex relationships.  Often when women are asaulted by other women they fear they will not be believed.  It is important to realise that women who are assaulted by other women experience the need to be able to access support and to be believed
