The centre offers Free Confidential Counselling & Support to Women who have experienced any form of sexual violence
The Rape & Sexual Abuse Counselling Centre (Darlington and County Durham) is a charity for women and is run by women!
We provide free, face-to-face counselling, telephone support, infromation and advice for ALL women and young girls aged 13 and over who have been raped, sexually abused or have suffered domestic abuse. We offer external training on a variety of topics relating to the damaging consequences of rape, sexual abuse and domestic abuse.
We help to raise awareness of the impactof rape both locally and nationally as an affiliated member of Rape Crisis (England and Wales) Support.
